The 2nd SMAF Free Eye Camp held at the Taluka District Hospital in Ratodero, Sindh, Pakistan was a huge success! Over 1,000 patients arrived after the news was spread of Eye Camp #2. We hope that this improved vision allows each patient to have a more dignified and independent life and encourages them to help their communities.
- Over 900 patients received eye check ups and treatments ranging from medications to prescription/non-prescription glasses.
- An additional 114 patients received cataract surgeries with the latest technology using intraocular lenses.
All those who have received treatment have been scheduled for follow up visits with the ophthalmologists as well.
We cannot thank you all enough for your continuous support and encouragement and we are looking forward to Eye Camp #3.
